- Combine the tomato sauce, water, vinegar, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, chili powder, paprika, sugar, and cayenne in a saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over low heat. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors come together and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from the heat and let the sauce cool slightly before using it as a pizza base. Reserve extra sauce for drizzling over the finished pizza.
