Information collected automatically
When you visit, the hosting provider may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security or error logs. This information is used for site delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Information you choose to provide
When you use the contact form, My Complete Cooking collects your name, email address, message topic, message, and submission time so Justin can review and respond to your inquiry. Contact-form information is not used to add you to the newsletter.
When you join the newsletter, My Complete Cooking collects your email address, the signup source, the consent language shown when you subscribed, and relevant subscription timestamps. This information is used to send the emails you requested and manage your subscription. You may unsubscribe from any newsletter email.
When you submit a recipe for consideration, My Complete Cooking collects your name, email address, recipe name, any source link and creator details you provide, your explanation of why the recipe is special, the consent language shown at submission, and the submission time. This information is used to review the recommendation, prevent abuse, contact you if needed, and—only if selected—prepare attribution and source links. A recipe submission does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
My Complete Cooking uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the site. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, page, referral, and interaction information for that purpose. The site also includes the Google AdSense connection code while its advertising application is reviewed. If advertising is activated, this policy and any required privacy choices will be updated before personalized advertising is enabled where consent is required.
External services and links
The site links to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Gumroad, and recipe-sharing destinations. These services are separate businesses with their own privacy practices. A third party generally receives information from your browser when you choose to follow one of those links. The embedded sharing controls on recipe pages create outbound links; they do not load social-network feeds into the page.
How information is shared
Limited technical information may be processed by service providers that host, secure, analyze, and deliver the site. Contact and newsletter information is stored with the site’s hosting provider and may be handled by an email-delivery provider when newsletter sending is activated. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. My Complete Cooking does not sell personal information collected directly through this site.
Retention and security
Contact messages and recipe submissions are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, review recommendations, maintain business records, handle safety or privacy concerns, and meet legal obligations. Newsletter records are kept while a subscription is active and as needed to honor an unsubscribe request. Technical records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, legal obligations, and reliable operation. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. My Complete Cooking does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the site.
Your choices and requests
You may avoid sharing information with external services by not following their links. You can unsubscribe using the link included in any newsletter email. To ask a privacy question, request access or deletion, or get help concerning information you believe My Complete Cooking controls, use the Contact form. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live.
