Dill Pickle Pasta Salad with Bacon
This pasta salad is creamy, tangy, and unapologetically full of dill pickle flavor. Rotini, bacon, cheddar, chopped pickles, fresh dill, and a pickle juice dressing make it a bold side dish for cookouts and casual gatherings.

Let’s cook.
- Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package directions until just tender. Drain and rinse under cold water until completely cool.
- Whisk the mayonnaise, pickle juice, sour cream, fresh dill, dried dill, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large bowl.
- Add the cooled pasta, bacon, cheddar, and pickles. Fold gently until everything is coated with the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Stir before serving and add a splash of pickle juice if the salad needs loosening.

Rinsing the pasta stops the cooking and helps keep this salad from becoming sticky. Keep refrigerated and use within 4 days.
