The perfect loaf! Just the right amount of tart and sweet. This is one of my favorite breads ever!

Orange Cranberry Bread

The perfect dessert loaf

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Grated Orange Zest
  • 1 1/2 Cups Fresh Cranberries
  • 1/2 Cup Pecans chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Butter softened
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 Cups Orange Juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat over to 350 F. Grease and flour a 9×5 loaf pan. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in orange zest, cranberries, and pecans. Set aside.
  • In large bowl – cream together butter, sugar, and egg until smooth. Stir in orange juice. Add flour mixture and beat just until moistened. Pour into loaf pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. Remove and let stand 10 minutes and turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
